Mayor Ryan Sorenson, has decided to trade his gavel for a sledgehammer as the best tool in his quest to destroy Sheboygan.
He told The Sheboygan Seagull that he prefers the new tool over his lightweight gavel. He said he can accomplish more with the sledgehammer. “When you elected me, one of my top priorities was to support local businesses and attract new ones,” said Sorenson. “I will continue to invest in infrastructure that attracts new industries and makes Sheboygan a hub of innovation and opportunity.”
Since being elected in April 2021 and being re-elected in April 2025, the city has lost businesses, not gained businesses. Do You Sheboygan?
